Dr. Jim Coffield is the Director of the new Compass Counseling in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he provides supervision, counseling rooted in decades of clinical and pastoral experience. He also serves on the pastoral team at Christ Covenant Church. He also mentors non-profit leaders and pastors through Leaders Collective, with a focus on emotional intelligence counseling and spiritual formation.

Before moving to Knoxville, Dr. Coffield spent 19 years as a professor at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, teaching future counselors and ministry leaders. He has taught in both public and private university/collage settings. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee and is a licensed psychologist. Jim is married to Mona, and together they have three adult children and two grandchildren. They live just outside of Knoxville, where they enjoy investing in their local community and church.
